I think mine does. But the "pixel" is white (and gets whiter with the backlight). Shouldnt it be black? It appears white even when the unit is off. Is there a way i can open it and get to the lcd screen to check what it is/clean it?

Sam fisher, I agree with you :D I trust the GP2X community and had good feedback, and that's enough to convince us :) What a refreshing way of thinking about things. I will certanly take a look at this demo and concider it!

isnt the point of widescreen to have the screen match more to our range of vision when large? What on earth is the point of having a widescreen on something so small it will never fill enough of your vision?

Bit of a silly question but are they .bin files? Some roms are placed within .zip, .rar or .7z files which can screw things up. You can get extractors to take them out of these files and get to the juicy .bin within.

The tested clock ones are great because you are guaranteed to get ones that can take alot of punishment in tearms of cranking the speed up and squeezing more out of it. As a side effect though i would assume units on the same website that are described as not being overclockable are confirmed...

You have to be carefull what you publicly announce to us. Downloading roms (while often done) is on very shakey legal ground (especialy if you dont own the origional). Its not really a problem to talk about the games themselves but putting links to places you can download them and so forth can...

Got mine! Really nice service from Gp2x.xo.uk, I got a card too and a cd of bits and bobs. Got one dead pixel but im living with it for now. So...many....emulators.... and payback aint bad either! Better start looking at the homebrew games now i suppose....and then perhapse start making one...
